This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above if they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they

understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user

maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are

older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord

out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience

and knowledge if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and

understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with

1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is

not the case, please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep

the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Customer Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance

to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.

To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance

to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under

water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the

plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down

before cleaning.

To clean the exterior of the product, use a dry soft cloth only.

• If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally

• This oven is specifically designed to heat, cook or dry food and is for

household use only. It is not designed for commercial, industrial or

laboratory use.

• Do not operate the oven when empty.

• The door, outer surface or exposed parts may become hot when the

appliance is in operation.

• The appliance becomes hot during use. Care should be taken to

avoid touching heating elements inside the oven.

• Caution! Steam will escape, when opening lids or wrapping foil.

• Use gloves if you remove any heated food.

• Warning: When the appliance is operated in combination mode,

children should only use the oven under adult supervision due to the

generated temperatures.

• To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:

- When heating food in a plastic or paper container, keep an eye on

the oven as there is a possibility of ignition;

- Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing the

bag in the oven;

- If you see smoke, switch o or unplug the appliance and keep the

door closed in order to stifle any flames;

- Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper

products, cooking utensils or food in the cavity when not in use;

- The microwave oven is intended for heating food and beverages.

Drying clothing and heating warming pads, slippers, sponges, damp

cloths or similar may lead to risk of injury or fire.

• Warning: Liquid or other food must not be heated in sealed

containers since these can explode.

• Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive

boiling; therefore, care has to be taken when handling the container.

• Do not fry food in the oven. Hot oil can damage oven parts and

utensils and even result in skin burns.

• Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be

heated in microwave ovens since they may explode even after the

microwave heating has ended.

• Pierce foods with heavy skins such as potatoes, whole squashes,

apples and chestnuts before cooking.

• The contents of feeding bottles and baby jars should be stirred or

shaken, and the temperature should be checked before serving in

order to avoid burns.

• Cooking utensils may become hot because of heat transferred from

the heated food. Potholders may be needed to handle utensils.

• Utensils should be checked to ensure that they are suitable for use

in microwave ovens.

• The microwave oven is a freestanding model and must only be used

as such.

• The microwave oven is intended for defrosting, cooking and

steaming food only.

• Warning: If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not

be operated until it has been repaired by a competent person.

• Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since such

operation can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.

• It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.

• Do not place any objects between the oven front face and the door

or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.

• Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important

that the oven door close properly and that there is no damage to the

- Hinges and latches (broken or loosened);

- Door seals and sealing surfaces.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

2.1. Product Description

Installation

1. Make sure that all the packing materials are removed from the inside

of the door.

2. Check the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door,

damaged door seals and sealing surfaces, broken or loose door

hinges and latches and dents inside the cavity or on the door. If

there is any damage, do not operate the oven and contact qualified

service personnel.

3. This microwave oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface to hold

its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.

4. Do not install the oven over a range cooktop or another heat-

producing appliance as this can damage the oven and will void the

warranty.

5. For correct operation, the oven must have suicient airflow. Allow a

required minimum of 20 cm of free space above the top surface of

the oven and 5 cm on both sides. The microwave oven rear plate

must be placed close to a wall. Do not cover or block any openings

on the appliance. Do not remove feet.

6. Do not operate the oven without the glass tray, roller support, and

shaft in their proper positions.

7. Never remove the distance holder on the back or on the sides, as it

ensures a minimum distance from the wall for air circulation.

8. Please secure the turntable before you move the appliance to avoid

damage.

9. Make sure that the power supply cord is undamaged and does not

run under the oven or over any hot or sharp surface.

10. The socket must be readily accessible so that it can be easily

unplugged in an emergency.

11. Do not use the oven outdoors.

12. The appliance must not be operated by means of an external timer

or separate remote-control system.

Grounding instructions

This appliance must be grounded. This oven is equipped with a cord

that has a grounding wire and a grounding plug. It must be plugged

into a properly installed and grounded wall socket. In the event of an

electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by

providing an escape wire for electric current. It is recommended that a

separate circuit serving only the oven be provided. Using high voltage

is dangerous and may result in a fire or another accident that causes

damage to the oven.

Warning: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of

electric shock.

Note:

If you have any questions about grounding or the electrical

instructions, consult a qualified electrician or service person.

Neither the manufacturer nor the dealer can accept any liability for

damage to the oven or personal injury resulting from failure to observe

the electrical connection procedures.

2.2. Product usage

How to set the oven controls

• When the oven is first plugged in, a beep will be sounded and the

display will show and “1:01”.

• During setting mode, the system will return to waiting mode if there

is no operation within 25 seconds.

• During cooking, the program will be paused if the PAUSE/CANCEL

pad is pressed once or the door is opened, resumed by pressing the

START/QUICK START pad , and cancelled if the PAUSE/CANCEL

pad is pressed twice.

• After cooking has ended, the screen will display End and emit a

sound every two minutes until the user presses the PAUSE/CANCEL

pad or opens the door.

Setting clock time

This is a 12- or 24- hour clock. To check the time while the oven is

in operation, press the WEIGHT/CLOCK button. The time will be

displayed on the display screen for a while.

For example: Suppose you want to set the oven clock time to 8:30.

1. Press the WEIGHT/CLOCK button once or twice to select a 12- or

24- hour clock cycle

2. Turn the MENU/TIME knob to set the hour to 8.

3. Press the WEIGHT/CLOCK button once to confirm the hour setting.

4. Turn the MENU/TIME knob to set the minute to 30.

5. Press the WEIGHT/CLOCK button once to confirm the setting.

Microwave cooking

For microwave cooking, just press the MICRO button several times to

select a cooking power level, and then use the MENU/TIME knob to set

a desired cooking time. The longest cooking time is 95 minutes. The

oven will start cooking after the user presses the START/QUICK START

pad.

For example, suppose you want to cook for 10 minutes at 60 % of

microwave power:

1. Press the MICRO button several times to set 60 %.

2. Turn the MENU/TIME knob to 10:00.

3. Press START/QUICK START.

Note: During cooking, you can check the cooking power level by

pressing the MICRO pad.

Quick Start

The quick start program cooks food quickly at HIGH power (100 %

power output).

Just press START/QUICK START several times to set cooking time, the

oven starts working automatically at full power. The maximum cooking

time you can enter is 10 minutes.

Grill

The oven allows you to grill food based on the time entered by the

user. The longest cooking time is 95 minutes.

1. Press the GRILL/ MICRO+GRILL button once.

2. Turn the MENU/TIME knob to enter the cooking time.

3. Press START/QUICK START.

Combination

The longest cooking time is 95 minutes. This feature allows you to

combine grill and microwave cooking with two dierent settings.

Combination 1: Use for fish, potatoes or au gratin.

Suppose you want to cook with combination 1 for 25 minutes:

1. Press the GRILL/ MICRO+GRILL button twice.

2. Turn the MENU/TIME knob to enter the cooking time.

3. Press the START/QUICK START button.

Combination 2: Use for puddings, omelettes, baked potatoes and

poultry.

Suppose you want to cook with combination 2 for 12 minutes:

1. Press the GRILL/ MICRO+GRILL button 3 times.

2. Turn the MENU/TIME knob to enter the cooking time.

3. Press the START/QUICK START button.

Auto Defrost

The oven allows you to defrost food by weight. The defrosting time

and power level are automatically set once the food category and the

weight are programmed. The weight of frozen food ranges from 100 g

to 1800 g.

1. In waiting mode, press the AUTO DEFROST pad once.

2. Press WEIGHT/CLOCK to select the weight of the food to be

defrosted.

3. Press START/QUICK START.

Note: During the defrosting program, the system will pause and emit

a beeping sound when 2/3 of the cooking time has elapsed to remind

the user to turn the food over. Press the START/QUICK START pad to

resume.

Speed Defrost

With SPEED DEFROST you need to input the defrosting time. The

longest defrosting time is 95 minutes.

Suppose you want to set the oven to SPEED DEFROST for 5 minutes

and 30 seconds:

1. In waiting mode, press the SPEED DEFROST pad once.

2. Rotate the MENU/TIME knob to set the defrosting time.

3. Press START/QUICK START.

Note: During the defrosting program, the system will pause and emit

a beeping sound when 2/3 of the cooking time has elapsed to remind

the user to turn the food over. Press the START/QUICK START pad to

resume.

Preset

This function allows you to set the oven to start a cooking program at

a later time.

1. Open the door and place the food into the oven. Close it.

2. Enter the desired cooking program (the quick start, auto defrost and

speed defrost programs do not have this feature).

3. Press the PRESET pad once.

4. Rotate the MENU/TIME knob to set the hour

5. Press the PRESET pad once.

6. Rotate the MENU/TIME knob to set the minute

7. Press the PRESET pad to confirm.

Note: To check the preset time in preset mode, press the PRESET pad.

You can cancel the preset program by pressing the PAUSE/CANCEL

pad when the preset time is displayed.

Child Lock

Use to prevent unsupervised operation of the oven by small children.

The CHILD LOCK indicator will show up on the display screen, and the

oven cannot be operated while the CHILD LOCK is set.

• To set the child lock: in standby mode, if the oven is idle for 1 minute,

the oven will automatically activate the child lock mode. In the

locked state, the oven can’t be operated.

• To cancel the child lock: opening or closing the oven door in child

lock mode cancels child lock mode.

Auto cooking

For the following foods or cooking operation, you do not need to input

cooking power and time. Try to focus on telling the oven what you

want to cook and how much the food weighs. Cooking begins after you

press the START/QUICK START button.

For example:

1. In waiting mode, turn the MENU/TIME knob anti-clockwise to select

the food code for the food that will be cooked.

2. Press the WEIGHT/CLOCK button several times to indicate the

desired weight.

3. Press the START/QUICK START button.

Microwave cooking principles

• Arrange food carefully. Place the thickest parts towards the outside

of the dish.

• Watch the cooking time. Cook for the shortest amount of time

indicated and add more as needed. Severely overcooked food can

smoke or ignite.

• Cover foods while cooking. Covers prevent spattering and help foods

cook evenly.

• Turn foods over once during microwaving to speed the cooking of

foods such as chicken and hamburgers. Large items like roasts must

be turned over at least once.

• Rearrange foods such as meatballs halfway through cooking both

from top to bottom and from the centre to the outside of the dish.

Utensils guide

• Microwaves cannot penetrate metal. Only use utensils that are

suitable for use in microwave ovens. Food and beverages in metallic

containers cannot be cooked in the microwave. This requirement is

not applicable if the manufacturer specifies the size and shape of

metallic containers suitable for microwave cooking.

• Microwaves cannot penetrate metal, so metal utensils or dishes with

a metallic trim must not be used.

• Do not use recycled paper products when microwave cooking, as

they may contain small metal fragments which may cause sparks

and/or fires.

• Round/oval dishes are recommended over square/oblong ones as

food in corners tends to overcook.

• Narrow strips of aluminium foil may be used to prevent overcooking

exposed areas, but be careful not to use too much and keep a

distance of 1 inch (2.54 cm) between the foil and the cavity.

2.3. Maintenance

Caution: It is dangerous for an unqualified person to repair or maintain

the appliance. This applies to the removal of the cover that oers

protection against microwave radiation, changing the power cord and

the lighting.

Cleaning and care

• Turn o the oven and remove the power plug from the wall socket

before cleaning.

• Keep the inside of the oven clean. When food splatters or spilled

liquids adhere to oven walls, wipe with a damp cloth. Mild detergent

may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Avoid the use of sprays

and other harsh cleaners as they may stain, streak or dull the door

surface.

• The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To

prevent damage to the operating parts inside the oven, water should

not be allowed to seep into the ventilation openings.

• Wipe the door and window on both sides, the door seals and

adjacent parts frequently with a damp cloth to remove any spills or

spatters. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

• Steam cleaners must not be used.

• Do not allow the control panel to become wet. Clean with a soft,

damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave oven door open

to prevent the oven from accidentally turning on.

• If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the oven door,

wipe it with a soft cloth. This may occur when the microwave oven is

operated under high humidity conditions, and it is normal.

• It is occasionally necessary to remove the glass tray for cleaning.

Wash the tray in warm sudsy water or in a dishwasher.

• The roller ring and oven floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid

excessive noise. Simply wipe the bottom surface of the oven with

mild detergent. The roller ring may be washed in mild sudsy water or

a dishwasher. When removing the roller ring from the cavity floor for

cleaning, be sure to put it back in the proper position.

• Remove odours from your oven by mixing the juice and skin of one

lemon and a cup of water in a deep microwaveable bowl. Microwave

it for 5 minutes. Wipe thoroughly with the microwaved mixture and

dry with a soft cloth.

• When it becomes necessary to replace the oven light, please consult

a dealer to have it replaced.

• The oven should be cleaned regularly, and any food deposits must

be removed. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could

lead to deterioration of the surface, which could adversely aect the

life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazard.

• When the microwave oven with grill function is first used, it may

produce a small amount of smoke and a slight smell. This is a normal

phenomenon because the oven is made of a steel plate coated with

lubricating oil, and the new oven will produce fumes and odour

generated by burning the lubricating oil. This phenomenon will

disappear after use.

2.4. Troubleshooting

If the oven fails to operate:

• Check to ensure that the oven is plugged in securely. If it is not,

remove the plug from the socket, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back

in securely.

• Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If

these seem to be operating properly, test the socket with another

appliance.

• Check to ensure that the control panel is programmed correctly, and

the timer is set.

• Check to ensure that the door is securely closed, engaging the door

safety lock system, otherwise microwave energy will not flow into the

oven.

If none of the above rectifies the situation, contact a qualified

technician. Do not try to adjust or repair the oven yourself.

Radio interference

During operation, the microwave oven can cause interference with your

radio, TV, or similar equipment. When there is interference, it may be

reduced or eliminated by taking the following measures:

• Clean the oven door and sealing surface.

• Reorient the radio or television antenna.

• Relocate the microwave oven with respect to the receiver.

• Move the microwave oven away from the receiver.

• Plug the microwave oven into a dierent outlet so that the
