Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is

not the case, please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep

the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Customer Support Service for replacement.

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance

to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.

To avoid re hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance

to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under

water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the plug

from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before

To clean the exterior of the product, use a dry soft cloth only.

• For household use only

• Use the steam iron for its intended purpose, for ironing fabrics on an

ironing board.

• To protect against bums or injury to persons, do not iron or steam

fabrics while being worn on the body.

• The steam iron should always be turned OFF before plugging or

unplugging it from outlet. Never pull the cord to disconnect the steam

iron from the outlet; instead, hold the plug and pull to disconnect.

• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let the steam iron cool

completely before storing it.

• Always disconnect the steam iron from electrical outlets when lling or

emptying the water tank and when not in use.

• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not operate the steam iron with a

damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. For repair,

take it to Customer Support Service.

• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near

children. Do not leave the steam iron unattended when it is plugged in

or on an ironing board.

• Burns can occur when touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam.

Hot water may leak from the steam iron. Use caution when lling or

turning the steam iron upside down.

• To protect against burns or injury to persons, do not direct steam

toward the body when ironing.

• The steam iron must be used and rested on a stable surface. When

placing the steam iron on its stand, make sure this is a stable stand.

The product has many functions such as temperature regulating,

Spraying, Dry Ironing, Steam, Strong steam, Self-Cleaning function, Anti-

Drip function, Anti-Calc function, Auto-Shut o function etc., as well

as the following features: luxury design, high heat eiciency, easy use,

good ironing results, work saving and time saving performance.



Make sure the steam iron is turned o and the power cord is unplugged

from the electrical outlet.

1. Set the steam knob to the ‘0’ position before lling the steam iron

with water.

2. Open the ‘Water ll’ opening and ll the water tank up to the ‘MAX’

line on the tank.

3. The water level can be observed through the transparent part of the

water tank, when the steam iron is placed vertically. If the water level

becomes low, rell the water tank, following the procedure described

in steps 1 to 3 above.

4. Pour out the remaining water after use.



Most tap water can be used in this steam iron. Do not use water

additives or substitute water such as linen or scented water in the steam

iron, they can stain fabrics or damage the steam iron. Do not ll the

water more than the ‘MAX’ indicator.

How to use as dry iron

1. Position the iron vertically.

2. Plug in the steam iron.

3. Set the steam regulating knob to the MIN position.

4. Preheat the steam iron until the indicator light goes out.

5. You can now begin ironing.

How to use the spray

Before using the spray feature, check the fabric label for ironing

instructions because some fabrics may be spotted or stained with

moisture.

The spray feature is particularly helpful for removing stubborn wrinkles

and where extra dampening is needed. The spray may be use with

steam or dry ironing. Simply pump the Spray mist knob when you wish

to spray the clothes being ironed.

How to use the steam iron

Fill the steam iron as described in ‘How to ll with water’ section.

1. Position the steam iron vertically and turn the Temperature control

dial to the steam position.

2. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.

3. Set the Temperature control dial to the steam position. Steam ironing

is only possible at higher temperature settings indicated with a ‘MAX’

mark; otherwise, the water will leak from the soleplate.

4. Preheat the steam iron until the indicator light goes out. The light will

turn o when the indicated setting reaches the correct temperature.

5. Turn the Temperature regulating knob to the required setting for

dierent types of fabric.

6. you can now begin to steam iron.



The burst of steam feature provides additional steam for removing

stubborn wrinkles. It may be used with steam or dry ironing.

Press the Power steam button to release the surge of steam. Pressing

the button several times may be necessary to prime the surge system.

Wait a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fabric before

pressing the button again for more steam.



For optimum steam quality, do not apply more than three successive

shots after the indicator light goes o.

The anti-calc function is a permanent system located inside the water

tank to eliminate impurities from the water and to reduce the problems

connected with limescale build-up.

To prolong the eiciency of this system, follow these steps occasionally:

1. Unplug the steam iron and allow it to cool down.

2. Locate the water cup that accompanied the steam iron. Fill it with

water up to 3/4. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to water and ll the water tank

with this solution.

3. Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking

occasionally, and then empty it.

4. Fill the water tank a second time with salt water solution, shaking

occasionally and empty it again after 15 minutes.

5. Fill the tank with fresh water to rinse and empty.



This system controls the water ow to the soleplate. Below a certain

temperature, the anti-drip function cuts o the ow of water and stops

the steam iron from dripping onto the fabric.



The steam iron will automatically switch o if it has not been moved for

a while, usually 30 seconds in level state; 8 minutes in vertical state.

To indicate that the steam iron has been switched o, the auto-o

indicator light will start blinking.

How to reheat the steam iron

1. Pick up the steam iron or move it slightly.

2. The blue auto-shut o pilot light will go out and come on again.

3. When the temperature pilot light had gone out and comes on again,

the steam iron is ready for use.



1. Turn the steam iron o and unplug it.

2. Empty the steam iron immediately after use. Do not store the steam

iron with water in it.

3. Wait until the steam iron has cooled down before storing it and

always set it on the heel rest to protect the soleplate from scratches,

corrosion or stains.

4. After letting the steam iron cool down completely, store it vertically in

a safe place.



After unplugging and cooling the steam iron, simply wipe o with a

damp cloth and if necessary, use a mild detergent.

NEVER USE ANY HARSH CLEANERS.



Starch and other residue may be easily removed from the soleplate with

a damp cloth.

To avoid scratching the nishing, never use a metallic pad to clean

the soleplate, and never place the steam iron on a rough surface. If

synthetics are ironed at a too high temperature not only is the fabric

usually ruined, but the steam iron soleplate is often covered with

the melted remains of the synthetic fabric. The best way to remove

synthetic residue from the Soleplate is to heat the steam iron and to

iron over an old cotton rag.

Never use steam iron cleaners in the steam iron, as these may damage

the working parts of the steam iron.

2.3. Maintenance



IMPORTANT: Your steam iron will provide the best ironing results

and last longest if you apply the Self-cleaning once a month, or more

depending upon the usage.

1. Fill the water tank up to half with water.

2. Position the iron on its rear heel.

3. Turn the temperature control dial to ‘MAX’ position.

4. Plug in the steam iron.

5. Allow the steam iron to heat up until the indicator light rst goes out.

6. Unplug the steam iron from the electrical outlet.

7. Keep the steam iron horizontally over the sink.

8. Press down the ‘Self Clean’ button all the time. Boiling water and

steam will now exit the holes in the soleplate.

9. Move the steam iron forwards and backwards while this happens;

go on letting steam and water escape until the water tank is virtually

empty.

10. Release the ‘Self Clean’ button.

11. Plug in the steam iron

12. Set the temperature dial to the ‘MAX’ position, let the steam iron

heat up again, the remainder of the water inside the steam chamber

will now vaporize and leave the steam iron through the soleplate.

During this process of dry steaming it is advised to use it over and

old piece of cloth.

No utilice el aparato en lugares húmedos. No deje que el aparato se

moje en ninguna circunstancia, pues puede ser peligroso. Para evitar

el peligro de incendio o descarga eléctrica, no exponga el aparato al

agua o la humedad. Asimismo, no sumerja el aparato (por ejemplo, para

limpiarlo).



Antes de proceder a la limpieza del aparato, apáguelo y desconecte el

cable de la corriente. Deje siempre que el aparato se enfríe antes de

efectuar cualquier operación de limpieza.

Para limpiar el exterior del producto, utilice únicamente un paño suave
