5. Installation

Powering the Weather Station

This weather station can be powered by batteries or via a power

adapter.

Open the battery compartment of the weather station. Insert the

batteries observing the correct polarity and re-insert the battery

door.

Connect the weather station to the mains using the included

power adapter or an exact equivalent.

6. Settings

Setting the Time and Date

1. In normal display mode, press and hold MODE. The digits

will flash. Set the time format with or .

2. Press MODE again. The digits will flash. Set the hour with

or .

3. Press MODE again. The digits will flash. Set the minutes

with or .

4. Press MODE again. The digits will flash. Set the year with

or .

5. Press MODE again. The digits will flash. Set the month with

or .

6. Press MODE again. The digits will flash. Set the date with

8. Press MODE again to confirm and to return to normal

mode.

Setting the Alarm

1. In normal display mode, press and hold ALARM. The digits

will flash. Set the alarm hour with or .

2. Press ALARM again. The digits will flash. Set the alarm

minutes with or .

3. Press ALARM again to confirm and to return to normal

mode.

In normal display mode, briefly press ALARM to switch the alarm

on or off.

When the alarm is sounding, press the snooze button to silence

the alarm. The alarm will buzz again after 5 minutes.

When the alarm is sounding, press any other button to stop the

alarm.

Weather Forecast

This weather station displays 4 levels of weather forecast:

sunny – partially cloudy – cloudy -- rainy

Indoor Temperature

Using this weather station for the first time, it may take up to a

few hours of collecting information before receiving accurate

forecasts.

The indoor temperature will automatically appear on the display.

When the measured temperature is lower than 0 °C, the weather

station will display LL. When the measured temperature is higher

than 50 °C, the weather station will display HH.

Max/Min Temperature

1. In normal display mode, briefly press MAX/MIN to display

the maximum recorded temperature. Press and hold

MAX/MIN to delete the recorded value.

2. Briefly press MAX/MIN again to display the minimum

recorded temperature. Press and hold MAX/MIN to delete

the recorded value.

Display Brightness

In normal display mode, briefly press SNOOZE to select the

display brightness.

Energy-Saving Mode

When operated by battery, the display will switch off after

10 seconds. Press any button to switch on the display and exit

the energy-saving mode.

8. Care and Maintenance

Cleaning

• Before starting any cleaning or maintenance activities,

unplug the appliance from its power source.

• Wipe all exterior surfaces of the appliance clean with a soft

cloth dampened with a soap and water solution. Do not

immerse or submerge any part of the appliance in water or

any other liquid. Never use solvents or cleaning agents

containing petroleum (petrol, kerosene, oil), paint thinner,

turpentine, alcohol, or ammonia.

Maintenance

• This appliance does not need any maintenance. Do not open

exterior casing of the appliance. There are no user-

serviceable parts inside. Opening or visible attempts to open

or repair the appliance may void any guarantee and/or

cause damage to the product or personal injury.

Storage

• Store the appliance and its accessories in its original

package in a clean and dry area.

5. Installatie

Het weerstation inschakelen

Het toestel wekt op batterijen of via een voedingsadapter.

Open het batterijvak. Plaats de batterijen met de juiste polariteit

en sluit het batterijvak.

Sluit het toestel aan op het lichtnet met de meegeleverde

voedingsadapter of een gelijkwaardige adapter.

Het alarm instellen

3. Druk nogmaals op ALARM om te bevestigen en om terug te

keren naar de normale weergavemodus.

In normale weergavemodus, druk kort op ALARM om het alarm

in of uit te schakelen.

Wanneer het alarm afgaat, druk op SNOOZE om het alarm te

sluimeren. Na 5 minuten gaat het alarm opnieuw af.

Wanneer het alarm afgaat, druk op een willekeurige knop om het

alarm te stoppen.

Weersvoorspelling

Het toestel is voorzien van 4 weersymbolen voor de

weersvoorspelling:

Binnentemperatuur

Bij de eerste ingebruikname kan het enkele uren duren voordat

de weersvoorspellingen nauwkeurig zijn.

De binnentemperatuur wordt automatisch weergegeven.

Wanneer de gemeten temperatuur lager is dan 0 °C, verschijnt

LL op het scherm. Wanneer de gemeten temperatuur hoger is

dan 50 °C, verschijnt HH op het scherm.

Maximum-/minimumtemperatuur

1. In normale weergavemodus, druk kort op MAX/MIN om de

opgeslagen maximumtemperatuur weer te geven. Houd

MAX/MIN ingedrukt om de geregistreerde waarde te

verwijderen.

2. Druk kort op MAX/MIN om de opgeslagen

minimumtemperatuur weer te geven. Houd MAX/MIN

ingedrukt om de geregistreerde waarde te verwijderen.

De helderheid instellen

In normale weergavemodus, druk kort op SNOOZE om de

helderheid van het scherm in te stellen.

Energiebesparende modus

Bij gebruik op batterijen schakelt het toestel na 10 seconden uit.

Druk op een willekeurige knop om het scherm in te schakelen en

om de energiebesparende modus te verlaten.

8. Reiniging en onderhoud

Reiniging

• Trek de trekker uit het stopcontact voor elke reiniging en

onderhoud.

• Reinig de behuizing met een zachte doek die licht

bevochtigd is met een milde zeepoplossing. Dompel het

toestel nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen. Gebruik

nooit oplosmiddelen of reinigingsmiddelen die petroleum

(benzine, kerosine, olie), verfverdunner, wasbenzine,

alcohol of ammoniak bevatten.

Onderhoud

• Het toestel heeft geen speciaal onderhoud nodig. Open nooit

de behuizing van het toestel. De gebruiker mag geen

onderdelen vervangen. Het openen of zichtbare pogingen tot

het openen of het repareren van het toestel kan leiden tot

het vervallen van de garantie en/of schade aan het toestel

of letsels.

Opslag

• Bewaar het toestel in de oorspronkelijke verpakking op een

droge en propere plaats.

Allumer la station météo

L'appareil fonctionne sur piles ou sur secteur.

Ouvrir le compartiment à piles. Insérer les piles et refermer le

compartiment à piles. Respecter la polarité.

Connecter l'appareil au réseau via l'adaptateur secteur fourni ou

un adaptateur du même type.

Lorsque l'alarme retentit, appuyer sur SNOOZE pour

temporairement désactiver l'alarme. Après 5 minutes, l'alarme

retentit à nouveau.

Lorsque l'alarme retentit, enfoncer un bouton quelconque pour

arrêter l'alarme.

Prévisions météo

La station météo affiche les prévisions météo par 4 symboles

météo :

ensoleillé - partiellement nuageux - nuageux - pluvieux

Température intérieure

Lors de la première utilisation, il est possible que la réception des

données météo nécessite quelques heures avant d'afficher des

prévisions précises.

La température intérieure s'affiche automatiquement. Lorsque la

température mesurée est inférieure à 0 °C, l'écran affiche LL.

Lorsque la température mesurée est supérieure à 50 °C, l'écran

affiche HH.

Température max/min

1. En mode d'affichage normal, appuyer brièvement sur

MAX/MIN pour afficher la température minimale

enregistrée. Maintenir enfoncé MAX/MIN pour supprimer la

valeur enregistrée.

2. Appuyer à nouveau brièvement sur MAX/MIN pour afficher

la température minimale enregistrée. Maintenir enfoncé

MAX/MIN pour supprimer la valeur enregistrée.

Régler la luminosité de l'écran

En mode d'affichage normal, appuyer brièvement sur SNOOZE

pour régler la luminosité de l'écran.

Mode d'économie d'énergie.

Lors d'un fonctionnement sur piles, l'écran s'éteint après 10

secondes. Appuyer sur un bouton quelconque pour activer l'écran

et pour quitter le mode d'économie d'énergie.

8. Entretien

Nettoyage

• Débrancher l'appareil avant chaque nettoyage ou entretien.

• Nettoyer le boîtier de l'appareil avec un chiffon doux

imprégné d'un détergent doux. Ne jamais immerger

l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout autre liquide. Ne jamais utiliser

de solvants ou de détergents contenant du pétrole (essence,

kérosène, huile), diluant, térébenthine, alcool ou

ammoniaque.

Entretien

• Cet appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien particulier. Ne

jamais ouvrir le boîtier de l'appareil. L'appareil ne contient

aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur. L'ouverture ou des

tentatives visibles d'ouverture ou de réparation pourraient
