any parts that can be repaired by the user. Ask for

Before using your appliance read these instructions manual

Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and

correct operation, do not use if:

• It has fallen to the ground;

• You notice any evidence of damage;

• Any anomaly occurs during its operation.

To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through

incorrect use it is advisable to read these instructions

thoroughly.

Your appliance should not be used for other purposes than

the ones intended and solely for household use. Any damage

resulting from using the appliance outside this scope, any

incorrect use, as well as any manual modifications to the product

will not be covered and automatically voids the warranty.

Assistance

In case of malfunction, take your appliance to the

Customer Support Service for assistance.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8

years and above if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way

and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning

and user maintenance shall not be made by children

unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the

appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less

than 8 years.

Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience

and knowledge if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way

and understand the hazards involved.

1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is

not the case, please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep

the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Customer Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance

to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.

To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance

to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under

water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the

plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down

before cleaning.

To clean the exterior of the product, use a dry soft cloth only.

1.5. General Precautions

• Any damage caused by manual modifications to the product is not

covered by the warranty.

• If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally

intended, or if it is not correctly connected, the product may become

damaged and the warranty will be voided.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the outlet if it is left

unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

• This appliance conforms to the applicable technical regulations and

standards.

• Do not place or use this appliance on a hotplate or near to a naked

flame (gas cooker).

• Only use the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface

away from water splashes. Do not turn it over.

• To avoid accidents and damage to the appliance, always keep hands

and kitchen utensils away from the moving blades and cones.

• Do not operate the appliance empty or with any of the cones stored.

• Do not chop, grate or slice raw or cooked meat.

• Do not remove the cones until the motor has completely stopped.

• Do not use the appliance for food with a too thick consistency: e.g.

sugar, meat.

• Unplug the appliance when a malfunction occurs during operation.

• Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the cable.

• Only use an extension lead after checking that it is in perfect working

order.

• The appliance should not be used if the cones are damaged.

• WARNING: Risks of injuries if you don’t use this appliance correctly.

• For instructions on cleaning surfaces in contact with food, refer to the

‘Cleaning’ section.

• Regarding the operating times, speed setting, rest time and recipes,

refer to the ‘Function table’ section.

• Avoid contacting moving parts. Never feed food by hand. Always use

a food pusher.

• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the

manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

2.1. Product Description

The appliance is suitable exclusively for processing vegetables of a

medium-hard consistency (see examples in the table of uses on the

following pages).

2.2. Product usage

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

WARNING: The cone blades are extremely sharp. Handle the cones

carefully, always holding them by the plastic part.

• Clean the accessories (cones, cone holder and pusher) with soapy

water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Choose the cone which corresponds to the desired use.

• Fit the feed tube on the housing base by giving it a quarter turn to

the left.

• Place the chosen cone into the opening at the front of the feed tube.

The cone should be correctly positioned all the way into the drive.

• Insert the plug into a suitable socket.

• Turn the switch for operation.

WARNING: Do not press the switch button before inserting food

into the feeder.

• Insert the food through the feed tube and push the food down using

the pusher.

• To change the cone, turn the feed tube a quarter turn to the right.

Then return it to the upright position. Remove the cone.

WARNING: Before running the appliance, always make sure the

cone is perfectly positioned on the motor driver unit. The produce

is fitted with a pulse button.

NOTE: The machine cannot be used for more than 1 min

consecutively and there should be a 2-minute break before reusing

it. Do not use it for more than 3 cycles!

Storage

• After use, remove all cones from the feed tube . Tilt the appliance to

one side first, and then lift up the food processor from the counter.

• Store the food processor in its box or in a clean, dry place.

2.3. Maintenance

Cleaning

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning the housing base .

• Do not immerse the housing base, do not run it under water. Wipe the

housing base down with a damp cloth. Dry it thoroughly.

• Handle the cones with care as the blades are extremely sharp.

• Should the plastic parts become stained with foodstus such as

carrots, rub them with a cloth dipped in a little cooking oil and then

clean as usual.

4. POSTSALE SERVICE

Becken has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum

reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the

appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve

the problem, please contact the Customer Support Service of any

Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten

defects for a 3-year period, or for another period provided for by the

applicable legislation, from the date of purchase of the appliance.

WARNING: any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the

manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

All users must be familiar with these instructions. Knowing what could

go wrong can help prevent problems from occurring.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

In order to protect the environment, we strive to

reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting

it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard,

paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured

using recyclable materials after disassembled by

a specialized company. Please comply with local

regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.

Atención: para evitar el riesgo de electrocución,

no abra esta unidad. Su interior no contiene

elementos que puedan ser reparados por el

usuario. Acuda al Servicio de Atención al Cliente.

Antes de usar el aparato, lea atentamente este manual de

instrucciones y guárdelo en un lugar seguro, pues puede

tener que consultarlo en el futuro.

Antes de encender el aparato, y a fin de garantizar su

utilización de forma correcta y segura, no lo utilice si:

• Se ha caído al suelo;

• Nota alguna señal de daño;

• Se produce alguna anomalía durante su funcionamiento.

Para evitar posibles peligros y el deterioro del aparato

debido a un uso incorrecto, se recomienda que lea

Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños a partir de

los 8 años, si han sido supervisados o instruidos sobre

cómo usar el electrodoméstico de manera segura y si

comprenden los riesgos involucrados. La limpieza y el

mantenimiento del usuario no deben ser realizados por

niños, a menos que sean mayores de 8 años y estén

1.1. Alimentación

Compruebe que el voltaje de la red eléctrica es compatible con el

indicado en el aparato. En caso de que no sea compatible, consulte al

Servicio de Atención al Cliente.

1.2. Cable de alimentación y otros cables

No enrolle el cable de alimentación ni tire de él para desenchufar el

aparato. Asimismo, manténgalo alejado de superficies calientes.

Nunca utilice este aparato si el cable o el enchufe están dañados.

En su lugar, llévelo a un Servicio de Atención al Cliente para que

proceda a su sustitución.

1.3. Humedad y agua

No utilice el aparato en lugares húmedos. No deje que el aparato se

moje en ninguna circunstancia, pues puede ser peligroso. Para evitar el

peligro de incendio o descarga eléctrica, no exponga el aparato al agua

o la humedad. Asimismo, no sumerja el aparato (por ejemplo, para

limpiarlo).

1.4. Limpieza

Antes de proceder a la limpieza del aparato, apáguelo y desconecte el

cable de la corriente. Deje siempre que el aparato se enfríe antes de

efectuar cualquier operación de limpieza.

Para limpiar el exterior del producto, utilice únicamente un paño suave

y seco.

1.5. Advertencias de seguridad

• Cualquier daño provocado por modificaciones manuales al producto

no estará cubierto por la garantía.

• Si usa el producto para otros fines que no sean para los que ha sido

originalmente diseñado, o si no está correctamente conectado, el

• No trocee, ralle o corte en rodajas la carne cruda o cocida.

• No retire los conos hasta que el motor se haya detenido por

completo.

• No utilice el aparato para alimentos con una consistencia demasiado

espesa, como el azúcar o la carne.

• Desenchufe el aparato cuando se produzca una irregularidad durante

su funcionamiento.

• Nunca desenchufe el aparato tirando del cable.

• Utilice un cable alargador solo después de comprobar que está en

perfecto estado de funcionamiento.

• No se debe usar el aparato si los conos están dañados.

• ATENCIÓN: existe riesgo de lesiones si no utiliza correctamente este

aparato.

• Para obtener instrucciones sobre la limpieza de las superficies en

contacto con los alimentos, consulte la sección «Limpieza».

• Con respecto a los tiempos de funcionamiento, ajuste de velocidad,

tiempo de reposo y recetas, consulte la sección «Tabla de funciones».

• Evite entrar en contacto con las piezas móviles. No añada nunca la

comida con la mano. Utilice siempre un empujador de alimentos.

• El uso de accesorios no recomendados o no vendidos por el

fabricante puede causar incendios, descargas eléctricas o lesiones.

• No utilice la unidad al aire libre.

• No permita que el cable cuelgue del borde de la mesa o de la

encimera.

2. MANUAL DE INSTRUCCIONES

2.1. Descripción del producto

El aparato es adecuado exclusivamente para procesar verduras de

consistencia semidura (consulte los ejemplos en la tabla de usos en las

páginas siguientes).

2.2. Utilización del producto

Antes del primer uso

ATENCIÓN: las cuchillas cónicas son extremadamente afiladas.

Manipule los conos con cuidado, sujetándolos siempre por la parte

de plástico.

• Limpie los accesorios (conos, soporte del cono y empujador) con

agua jabonosa. Enjuague y seque bien.

• Elija el cono que corresponda al uso deseado.

• Coloque el tubo de alimentación en la base de la carcasa dándole un

cuarto de vuelta a la izquierda.

• Coloque el cono seleccionado en la abertura en la parte delantera del

tubo de alimentación. El cono debe colocarse correctamente hasta el

final de la unidad.

• Inserte el enchufe en una toma de corriente adecuada.

• Gire el interruptor para la operación.

ATENCIÓN: no presione el botón del interruptor antes de añadir los

alimentos en el alimentador.

• Añada la comida a través del tubo de alimentos y empuje la comida

hacia abajo con ayuda del empujador.

• Para cambiar el cono, gire el tubo de alimentación un cuarto de vuelta

hacia la derecha. Luego, vuelva a colocarlo en posición vertical. Retire

el cono.

ATENCIÓN: antes de encender el aparato, asegúrese siempre de

que el cono esté perfectamente colocado en la unidad del motor. El

producto está equipado con un botón pulsador.
