1.1 Power Energy
Make sure the voltage of the electric network is compatible
with the one of the appliance. If it does not match, consult the
vendor or Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, and
do not use to twine the appliance. Keep the cord far from warm
surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket, or
if it is not working properly.
In case of damage of the power cord, do not use your appliance.
Take it to technical assistance for its replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not let your
appliance to catch water under any circumstance, as it may be
dangerous. TO AVOID FIRE HAZARD OR ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT
EXPOSE YOUR APPLIANCE TO HUMIDITY OR WATER. Do not place
your appliance under water (for example for washing).
1.4. Cleaning
Be sure to switch off from the power supply and pull out the
plug before cleaning.

Run a damp cloth over the motor block for cleaning and avoid
the use of abrasive detergents.
Note: Never immerse the motor block in water or any other liquid
for that matter. Never wash the motor block in the dishwasher.
Every other attachment (apart from the motor block) can
be washed in warm water with standard washing liquid. e
attachments are totally dishwasher-safe, as long as the
temperature does not exceed 65˚C.
e blades are sharp, handle them with extreme care.
Ingredients may sometimes leave color marks on the appliance
attachments (for instance, streaks of orange after cutting
carrots), which can be easily removed by dipping a cloth into
edible oil.
Before re-connecting the plug into the power socket, make
sure the appliance and all its corresponding attachments are
perfectly dry.
1.5. General Precautions

and operating this product and enjoying
its advanced features. Please keep the

- Read all instructions before using the product.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains
electricity supply before carrying out any

- Before using the appliance, make sure it is
in perfect working order from a mechanical
standpoint.
- After unpacking the appliance and before
each use, make sure that all its mechanical
part and attachments are in perfect conditions.
If you have any doubt, do not use the appliance
and refer to a qualified electrician.
- All packing element (plastic bags, polysty-
rene foam, nails, etc) are potentially dangerous
and should be kept out of children´s reach.
- Before connecting the appliance, make
sure the voltage matches the indications on
the appliance rating plate. e rating plate is
secured to the bottom section of the motor
block.
- Should the wall outlets and the unit plug be
incompatible with each other, have the wall
outlet replaced by an appropriate one by a
qualified electrician, who in particular, shall
also make sure the cross section of the wires
corresponds to the absorbed power of the
appliance.
- Generally, adapters, multiple sockets and/
or extension cables should not be used.
- However, if necessary, only use single or
multiple adapters and extension cables, which
comply with the existing safety standards,
making sure the current carrying capacity
limits, marked on the single adapter and on
the extension cables, as well as the maximum
power limit marked on the multiple adapter,
are not exceeded.
- is appliance must only be used for the
purpose for which it was designed, i.e., as a
food mincing appliance.

- Any other use is deemed inappropriate
and therefore, hazardous. e manufacturer
will not be responsible for any damages
whatsoever arising from any improper, unfit
and unreasonable use of the product.
- e use of electric appliance involves
compliance with certain basic rules, in
particular:
. Never touch the appliance with wet or damp
hands.
. Never use the appliance with bare feet.
. Never pull the power cord or the appliance
to remove the plug from the wall socket.
. Never leave the appliance outdoors where
it can be exposed to the weather conditions
(rain, wind, etc).
- Before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance operations, disconnect the
appliance from the power source by removing
the plug from the power socket or by turning
OFF the appliance switch.
- Turn the appliance off and do not tamper
with it in any way if it becomes faulty and/or
operates in an incorrect way.
- Repairs must only be carried out by the
manufacturer.
- Always insist on genuine spare parts. Failure
to comply with these recommendations could
impair the safety of the appliance.
- Should you decide to stop using an appliance
of this type, remember to render it unusable
by cutting off the power cord after having
removed the plug from the power socket. Also
make sure that all parts of the appliance liable
to constitute a danger are made harmless,
particularly for children who could decide to
use an old appliance as a toy.

- Installation shall take place in accordance
with the manufacturer´s directions. Any im-
proper installation may result in damages to
persons, pets or objects for which the manu-
facturer shall not be held accountable.
- To avoid dangerous overheating, always
fully unwind the power cord and use the
appliance as recommended.
- Never leave the appliance plugged in
unnecessarily.
- Remove the plug from the mains socket
whenever the appliance is not used for a long
period of time.
- Do not block the openings, air intakes or
heat outlets.
- If the line cord shows signs of wear and
tear, have it replaced only by an authorized
customer service centre, as this procedure
requires special tooling.
- e motor block, the receptacle, the blade
and the jar should show no breaks or cracks.
- e sheath and the power cord plug should
have no scratches or parting. If there are sign of
scratches or any other damage, immediately
unplug the appliance from the mains outlet
and take it to an authorized Customer Service
Centre for necessary checking.
- Never immerse the motor block (1) in water
or any other liquid for that matter. After use,
thoroughly clean the various attachments
on contact with food. To achieve this, comply
with the instructions detailed in the “Cleaning”
section.
- Do not put food in the work bowl (2) or the
jar (7) whose temperature rises above 50˚C.

- Food should never exceed 2/3 of the work
bowl capacity (2).
- Do not put liquid or juicy foods in the work bowl (2).
- Do not crush hard or frozen foods (coffee,
shells/hulls, bones, etc).
- Never let the appliance run idly.
- To avoid getting cut, do not slip your fingers
into the working bowl (2) or into the jar (7),
by the blade.
- Never use your fingers to remove leftovers,
use appropriate attachments instead.
- Once the lid (4) has been removed, wait for
the blade to come to a complete standstill
before opening the lid.
- Neither mount nor retrieve the jar (7) on/from
the motor block without first disconnecting
the plug from the power socket.
- In order to prevent the appliance from over-
heating, both the quantities and timeframes
reported in the corresponding table should
be respected for each mixing cycle. Let the
appliance rest for 2 minutes at least after
each break. Whenever blending substantial
quantities, make sure to alternate work with
appropriate breaks.
- Always disconnect the plug from the power
socket after use.
- Blades are particularly sharp so you should
handle them with the utmost care.
- Do not put the working bowl (2) or the jar
(7) in the microwave oven.

2.2. Chopper Operation
- Fasten the work bowl (2) to the
motor block (1) (picture C).
- Secure the blade group (3) to
the rotating pin (1a), making sure
it clicks into place (picture C).

Note: Blades (3) are sharp so you should handle them with the
utmost care. Put the food in the working bowl (2) (making sure
to comply with the quantities reported in the “Quantities and
Timeframes” table).
Note: Do not put liquid or juicy foods (tomatoes, for instance)
in the work bowl (2). Pour thinly sliced pieces of food in the
work bowl (2).
- Place the lid (4) over the motor block (1) (picture D).
- Connect the plug to the power socket.
- Turn the appliance On by exerting a slight pressure on the
lid (4) with the palm of your hand (picture D).
Note: If the appliance fails to start once this operation is
concluded, is possible that certain pieces of food are stuck
between the lid (4) and the edge of the work bowl (2), thus
preventing the lid (4) from sliding in.
- To stop the appliance, just
release the lid (4).
Note: Locking latches have been
supplied to stop the blade group (3)
almost immediately. Wait until the
blades come to a complete standstill
before removing the lid (4).
- To retrieve the blade group (3),
press the central switch (3a)
and lift the work bowl (2)
simultaneously (picture E).

Note: Before pulling out the lid (4), always disconnect the plug
from the power socket.
2.3. Motor Block and Jar Operation
- Before fitting the jar (7) onto the motor block (1), remove
the blade group (3) and the work bowl (2).
- Put the food to be minced in the
jar (7).
Note: Preparations should be made with the jar (7) pulled out
of the motor block (1) or else, with the plug disconnected from
the power socket.
- Set the jar (7) on the motor block; whirl it slightly so that
the blade driving screw (11a) can be easily wedged on the
rotating pin (1a) (picture E).
Note: Never operate the appliance with the jar (7) empty or
without the lid (9).
Note: Do not chop food in the jar (7) whose temperature rises
above 50˚C.
Note: Blades (11) are particularly sharp so you should handle
them with the utmost care.
- Place the lid (9) over the jar (7)
and the plug (10) over the lid (9);
turn it clockwise for fastening
purposes (picture F).

- Drive the plug into the power socket.
- Run the appliance by simultaneously pressing both sides of
the flange ring (8) (picture G).
- To stop the appliance, just release
the flange ring (8).
Note: Locking latches have been supplied to stop the blade
group (11) almost immediately. Wait until the blades come to a
complete standstill before removing either the lid (9) or the jar
(7) from the motor block (1).
- If you wish to pour more ingredients into the jar (7) during
the mixing cycle, just pull out the plug (10).

2.5. Useful Tips
- To chop solid food, do not
forget to add liquid (water,
broth, milk, etc) without
filling the jar (7) to the brim
(see maximum level indicated)
(picture H).
- Suitable for blending:
. vegetable cream soups;
. mayonnaise;
. milk-shakes;
. beverages;
. and others.
- Unsuitable for:
. whipping egg whites.
. crushing mashed potatoes;
. mincing raw food.
- e blending results depend on how long the appliance has
been running.
- To obtain tiny and consistently chopped ingredients, exert
a slight pressure on the lid and remove, if needed, any piece
of food reclined against the work bowl wall, using the spatula
(5) to bring it back to the centre.
- If chopping consistency tends to diminish after a long period
of operation, replace the blade.

determine its cause.
Do not attempt to open the appliance – there is a risk of
electrical shock.
If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact your
seller or manufacturer.
All users must be familiarized with this section. Knowing what
could go wrong can help you avoid the occurrence of problems.
WARNING: any attempt of fixing the appliance without contacting
the manufacturer will nullify the warranty.
In case the problem persists, take your appliance to an
aftermarket section of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store
in order to solve the problem.

years, counting from the date of purchase of this appliance, a
warranty against any found manufacturing defect. e warranty
supposes a correct use and maintenance of the appliance,
namely according to the instructions expressed in this manual.
In case otherwise identified, the malfunctions will not be under

e repairing of electrical appliances must only be made by
qualified technicians, as otherwise there may occur future
complications on the appliances.
To avoid unnecessary risks, in case there are any malfunctions
on the wires or on another type of components, repairing must
be made on the specialized locations of technical assistance, as
appropriate tools are needed.
5. Environment Conservation
Aiming to protect the environment, we try to reduce to a
maximum the volume of the packages which are confined to
three easy separation materials: cardboard, paper and plastic.
e appliance is made of recyclable material, once disassembled
by a specialized company. Follow the local legislation concerning
recycling of all materials.
