1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance, read carefully this instruction manual and
keep it in a safe place, as you may need it for future consultations.
Before you start your appliance, and to ensure a correct use, do not use it if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
• You notice any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operation;
• The power cord is damaged.
In case of any of this occurring, please allow Worten Technical Service
to test the device.
• Connect the equipment according to the voltage indicated.
• ATENTION! The slices of toasted bread may burn within the space
reserved for toasting bread. For this reason, do not use the toaster
near ammable materials.

• THE TOASTER SHOULD ALWAYS BE OFF THE POWER IN THE
FOLLOWING CASES:
- If during the operation of the same any anomaly arises;
- When cleaning and doing maintenance of the appliance after each use.
• Do not pull the cord to disconnect the unit.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water.
• Careful! Danger of burn injuries! The unit gets hot and can cause
burns.
• Do not insert ngers or any objects like knives or forks inside the
toaster. If any toast gets entangled or trapped inside the toaster rst
disconnect the toaster from the wall outlet and then remove the toast.
• Do not leave loose wire or the appliance at reach of children in order
not to allow them to pull the wire, as touching the appliance when
hot can cause burns.
• To prevent overheating, let the appliance cool down for about 10
minutes after the preparation of 6 bread rolls.
Important
• To avoid hazards and deterioration of your appliance by an incorrect
use, it is advisable to read the instructions carefully and attentively.
• Your appliance must not be used to other ends than the ones
foreseen in the instructions manual. Your safety is only guaranteed
in a household use and not for commercial use. The incorrect use
will not be covered and automatically cancels the right to warranty.
• The toaster should be placed on a stable at and horizontal surface.

• The appliance must be put in a place that allows the necessary air
circulation.
• Do not place toaster on hot surfaces such as hotplates or near the
cooker ame.
• Do not cover the toaster during use. Do not put too many slices of
bread or read rolls inside the toaster as this may cause overheating
of the machine.
• To avoid damage to the cord wrap it eortlessly around the base of
the unit.
• To carry out the preparation of a toast in perfect conditions and with
good results, the colour of incandescent heating plates may vary.
• The material used in packaging should not be left within reach of
children.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Product Description
2.2. Bread toasting
• Push the plug into the socket and turn on the toaster using the
toast lever. NOTE: When using the appliance for the rst time, it will
produce some smoke. This is normal and it will stop by itself after a
few minutes.
• The indicator light of the stop button comes on automatically once
the toaster is turned on.
• The stop button is there to prematurely stop the toasting process.
• The indicator light of the reheat button goes on when the button is
pressed.
• The reheat button is used to heat up the toast.

• The indicator light of the defrost button goes on when the button is
depressed.
• The defrost button is used for toasting bread directly from the freezer.
• Place the bread in the toaster clip.
• The clip can be opened by pushing together by hand.
• Place the clip in the toaster slot, but be aware that the toast does
not bring up by itself.
2.3. Toasting level selection
• Please select the toasting time. When baking time is completed, the
timer will close the toaster and it will be in a wait state.
• You should experiment until you nd the perfect toasting time. The
optimal time changes depend on the freshness of the bread and on
the other ingredients. We advise you to alternate the two toaster clips
half way through the toasting process. This will ensure that the bread
is evenly browned.
• Do not use a knife, fork or other utensil to remove the bread from
the toaster or to clean the toaster. If the bread becomes lodged in
the toaster, unplug the appliance before attempting to remove it.
• The top of the appliance becomes hot because metal conducts heat
so well. Therefore do not touch the outside of the toaster during use
and keep it well out of reach of children.
2.4. Cleaning instructions
• Switch o and unplug toaster from the power outlet.
• Allow to cool down before cleaning.
• Wipe over the exterior of the toaster and cord with a soft damp sponge
or cloth.

• Do not use abrasive or strong household cleaners as they will
damage the nish.
• The crumb tray will need to be cleaned occasionally.
• Brush the crumbs from the tray using a small brush or cloth.
• Slide the crumb tray back, ensuring it locks into place.
• Do not try to clean the inside of the toaster, as this may damage the
heating elements.
• Water and other liquid must never enter the toaster.

reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the
appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve
the problem, please contact the Costumer Support Service of any
Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten

defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the
manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard,
paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured
using recyclable materials after disassembled
by a specialized company. Please comply with
local regulations concerning the recycling of all

1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Avisos Importantes
Antes de usar su aparato lea atentamente este manual de instrucciones
y guárdelo en un lugar seguro, puede volver a necesitarlo en el futuro.
Antes de poner el aparato en funcionamiento y de forma a garantizar su
correcta utilización, no lo utilice si:
• Cayó al suelo;
• Nota algún vestigio de daño;
• Surge alguna anomalía durante su funcionamiento;
• El cable de la luz está dañado.
En caso de que se verique alguna de estas situaciones, permita que
el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica de Worten someta el aparato a las
pruebas necesarias.
• Enchufar el aparato a la luz en tomas que respeten la potencia
indicada.
• ¡ATENCIÓN! Las rebanadas de pan que está tostando podrán arder
dentro del espacio reservado para tostar el pan. Por este motivo, no
utilice el tostador cerca de materiales fácilmente inamables.

• EL TOSTADOR DEBERÁ SER SIEMPRE DESCONECTADO DE LA
CORRIENTE EN CASO DE:
- Surja alguna anomalía durante el funcionamiento del mismo;
- Que proceda a la limpieza y mantenimiento del aparato tras cada
utilización.
• No tire del cable para desconectar el aparato.
• No sumerja el aparato en agua.
• ¡Cuidado! ¡Peligro de quemaduras! El aparato se calienta y puede
provocar quemaduras.
• No introducir los dedos o cualquier otro tipo de objeto como
tenedores o cuchillos en el interior del tostador. En caso de que
alguna tostada se quede atascada o presa en el interior del tostador,
desconecte primero el tostador de la corriente eléctrica y sólo
después retire la tostada.
• No deje el cable suelto o cerca del alcance de los niños para así no
permitir que consigan tirar del cable, ya que tocar el aparato cuando
esté caliente puede provocar quemaduras.
• Para evitar sobrecalentamiento, deje que el aparato se enfríe durante
cerca de 10 minutos tras la elaboración de 6 tostadas.
Importante
• Para evitar peligros y causar el deterioro de su aparato debido
a utilizaciones incorrectas, se aconseja que lea atenta y
cuidadosamente las instrucciones.
• No deberá utilizar su tostadora para otros nes diferentes a los
previstos en este manual de instrucciones. Su seguridad está
prevista apenas para uso doméstico y no para uso comercial. Los
desperfectos causados por un uso incorrecto no serán cubiertos por
la garantía que quedará automáticamente cancelada.

• Deberá colocar la tostadora sobre una supercie estable, plana y en
horizontal.
• Deberá colocar el aparato en un lugar que permita la necesaria
circulación de aire.
• No colocar la tostadora sobre supercies calientes como placas o
cerca de la llama de los fuegos de la cocina.
• No tapar la tostadora durante su utilización. No colocar rebanadas
pan o panecitos de más en su interior ya que eso podrá originar un
sobrecalentamiento de la máquina.
• Para evitar daños en el cable, enróllelo sin tirar de él alrededor de la
base del aparato.
• Para proceder a la elaboración de una tostada en perfectas
condiciones y obtener buenos resultados, el color incandescente de
las placas de calentamiento del aparato podrá variar.
• No deberá dejar al alcance de los niños el material utilizado para el
empaquetado del producto.
Asistencia
Compruebe que, en caso de avería, entrega su aparato a personal
especializado.

2. INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
2.1 Descripción del producto
2.2. Tueste de pan
• Introduzca la clavija en el enchufe y active el tostador usando la
palanca del tostador. NOTA: cuando se utiliza el aparato por primera
vez, este produce algún humo. Esto es normal y dejará de emitirlo de
forma natural pasados algunos minutos.
• La luz indicadora del botón Stop se ilumina automáticamente en el
momento en el que el tostador es puesto en marcha.
• El botón Stop existe para detener anticipadamente el proceso de
tueste.
• La luz indicadora del botón para el recalentado se enciende cuando
se presiona el botón.
• El botón de recalentado se usa para calentar la tostada.

• La luz indicadora del botón para activar el descongelado se ilumina
cuando se presiona el botón.
• El botón para activar el descongelado es usado para tostar pan
recién sacado del congelador.
• Coloque el pan en la rejilla del tostador.
• Puede abrir la rejilla del tostador empujando con la mano.
• Coloque la rejilla en la abertura d del tostador, pero tenga cuidado
para evitar que las tostadas suban automáticamente.
2.3. Selección del nivel de tueste
• Por favor seleccione el tiempo de tueste. Cuando el tiempo de tueste
esté completado, el temporizador desconectará el tostador y este
quedará en modo de espera.
• Deberá probar hasta encontrar el intervalo ideal de tueste. Las
alteraciones del tiempo ideal dependen de la frescura del pan y
de los otros ingredientes. Se aconseja que gire las dos rejillas del
tostador cuando se encuentre por la mitad del proceso de tueste. Así
se asegurará de que el pan queda uniformemente dorado.
• No use un cuchillo, tenedor y otro utensilio para retirar el pan del
tostador o para limpiar el aparato. Si el pan queda preso en el
tostador, desconecte el aparato de la corriente eléctrica antes de
intentar sacarlo.
• La parte superior del aparato se calienta porque el metal es un buen
conductor del calor. Por ello, no toque la parte externa del tostador
durante su uso y manténgalo fuera del alcance de los niños.
2.4. Instrucciones de limpieza
• Apague y desconecte el tostador del enchufe de la luz.
• Deje enfriar antes de limpiarlo.

• Limpie la parte exterior del tostador y el cable de corriente con una
esponja suave y húmeda o con un paño.
• No use productos de limpieza abrasivos o fuertes que puedan dañar
el acabado del aparato.
• Tendrá que limpiar la bandeja para almacenar migas ocasionalmente.
• Retire las migas de la bandeja usando un pequeño cepillo o con un
paño.
• Deslice la bandeja para almacenar migas hacia atrás, para garantizar
que queda convenientemente encajada en su lugar.
• No intente limpiar el interior del tostador, ya que esto podrá dañar
los elementos de calentamiento.
• No debe permitir que agua u otros líquidos entren bajo ningún
concepto en el tostador.
3. SERVICIO POSVENTA
BECKEN ha diseñado este aparato con el n de garantizar la máxima
abilidad. Sin embargo, si se produce algún problema, no intente
abrir el aparato, pues corre peligro de electrocución. En caso de que
no sea capaz de solucionar el problema, póngase en contacto con el
Servicio de Atención al Cliente de cualquier tienda Worten, Modelo o
Continente, para solucionar el problema. Worten Equipamentos para o
Lar ofrece una garantía por un periodo de dos años, desde el momento
de compra de este artículo, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación.
ATENCIÓN: cualquier intento de reparar el aparato sin haber
contactado con el fabricante o el vendedor anulará la garantía.
Todos los usuarios deben estar familiarizados con estas instrucciones.
El hecho de conocer los posibles problemas puede servirle de ayuda
para evitar que se produzcan.
