Noises during Operation
The following noises are characterisc to refrigeraon units:
Clicks Whenever the compressor switches on or o, a click can be heard.
Humming As soon as the compressor is in operaon, one can hear it humming.
Bubbling When refrigerant ows into the ne tubes, one can hear bubbling or
splashing noises.
Splashing Even aer the compressor has been switched o, this noise can sll be
heard for a short me.
Energy saving tips
• Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other sources of heat
• Do not open the door too oen or leave it open for any longer than necessary.
• Do not set the temperature to any colder than necessary.
• Ensure the side plates and back plate of the appliance are at a distance from the
wall, follow the relevant installaon instrucons.
• If the sketch map shows the right combinaon of drawers, crisper box and shelves,
do not adjust the combinaon, it would result in greater energy-consumpon.
Hints for fresh food refrigeration
To obtain the best performances:
• Do not store warm foods or evaporang liquids in the appliance.
• Do cover or wrap food, parcularly if it has a strong avour.
• Posion food so that air can freely circulate around it.
Hints for freezing
To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:
• The maximum quanty of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on the
rang plate.
• The freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be frozen should be added
during this period.
• Only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned foodstus.
• Prepare food in small porons to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen
and also to make it possible to later thaw only the required quanty.
• Wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene bags and ensure that packages
are fully airght;
• Do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which has already been frozen,
thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the laer.
