• Caution - some of the convection heater parts may be very hot and
cause burns. Be particularly careful when children and vulnerable
persons are present.
• The convection heater’s metal surfaces can become hot. Therefore,
only hold the convection heater by its handles (9.).
• All repairs must be carried out by the Customer Support Service.
Improper repairs can pose signicant risks to the user and will void
warranty claims.
• Defective components must always be replaced with original
replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts can it be
assured that the safety requirements are being complied with.
• Protect the convection heater from penetration by moisture and liquids.
• Always disconnect the power cable from the mains power socket by
pulling on the plug; never pull on the cable.
• Avoid using extension cables.
• Do not use the convection heater near naked ames.
• The convection heater must not be placed immediately under or over
a mains power socket.
• Do not use this convection heater together with a programmable
switch, a timer, a separate remote-control system or any other system
which switches on the heater automatically, as this could lead to a re
risk should the convection heater be covered or set up incorrectly.
• Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket if the convection heater
malfunctions. Follow the same procedure during thunderstorms.
• The convection heater must not be used in the immediate vicinity of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• The convection heater is to be installed so that a person in the bath
or shower is unable to touch the switch and other controls.
• Do not expose the convection heater to spray and/or dripping water
and do not place any objects lled with liquid, such as vases or open
drink containers, on or near the appliance.
