Diese Bedienungsanleitung enthält wichtige Informationen für einen

ordnungsgemäßen und sicheren Betrieb des Produkts.

Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung daher vollständig durch, bevor

Sie das Produkt einsetzen. Andernfalls können Gefahren für Perso-

nen sowie Schäden am Produkt entstehen.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Produkt dient ausschließlich zum Aromatisieren der Luft in

geschlossenen Innenräumen. Das Produkt ist nicht für den gewerb-

lichen Einsatz, sondern ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch vorge-

sehen.

Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört auch die Einhaltung

aller Vorgaben in dieser Anleitung. Jede über die bestimmungsge-

mäße Verwendung hinausgehende oder andersartige Benutzung gilt

als Fehlgebrauch.

Fehlgebrauch

Ein Fehlgebrauch des Produkts kann zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.

■ Befüllen Sie das Produkt ausschließlich mit Wasser. Verwenden

Sie keine anderen Flüssigkeiten.

■ Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in Feuchträumen wie Bädern

oder Saunen.

■ Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in Räumen mit offenem Feuer

(Kamin, Gasherd, Kerzen usw.).

■ Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in Öffnungen des Produkts ein.

■ Stellen Sie das Produkt nicht direkt vor eine Klimaanlage oder

andere elektrische Geräte.

Kinder

Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden,

wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des

Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren

■ Achten Sie darauf, dass das Produkt außerhalb der Reichweite von

Unsachgemäße Hand habung

Die unsachgemäße Handhabung des Produkts kann zu Verletzungen

führen.

■ Achten Sie auf ein sachgerechtes Anschließen des Produkts.

Beachten Sie hierbei diese Bedienungsanleitung.

■ Achten Sie auf eine sachgerechte Verwendung des Produkts.

Decken Sie es niemals ab.

■ Beachten Sie, dass eigenmächtiges Umbauen und/oder Verän-

dern des Produkts nicht gestattet ist. Im Falle des eigenmächtigen

Umbauens und/oder Veränderns erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Öffnen Sie während des Betriebs niemals den Wassertank.

■ Ziehen Sie vor dem Befüllen oder Leeren des Produkts immer den

Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

■ Ziehen Sie vor Installation, Reinigung und bei Nichtbenutzung den

Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

■ Entleeren Sie den Wassertank vor Nichtbenutzung.

■ Wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller oder eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie

Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise, die Sicherheit oder den Anschluss

des Produkts haben.

■ Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, darf es nur durch Medisana,

seinen autorisierten Kundendienst oder durch eine ähnlich quali-

zierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden

Aufstellen

Wenn Flüssigkeiten, feuchte Luft oder Feuer mit dem Produkt in Kon-

takt kommen, können Verletzungen die Folge sein.

■ Stellen Sie das Produkt nicht in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit

wie Bädern oder Saunen auf.

■ Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gehäuseinnere

gelangen. Dadurch wird nicht nur das Produkt zerstört, sondern es

besteht auch Brandgefahr.

■ Schützen Sie das Produkt vor Witterungseinüssen. Stellen Sie es

nie im Freien auf.

■ Stellen Sie das Produkt nur auf ebene Flächen. Auf schrägem

Untergrund kann Wasser vom Wassertank in das Gehäuseinnere

gelangen.

■ Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lufteinlassöffnungen am Boden des

Produkts nicht abgedeckt oder verschlossen sind.

Funktionen

Der Aroma-Diffusor ist ein moderner Duftvernebler, der mit Ultraschall-Technologie einen feinen

Nebel erzeugt und so den Duft im gesamten Raum verteilt. Der Aroma-Diffusor verfügt über folgende

Zusatzfunktionen:

■ Timer: Mit dem Timer wird die Duftverneblung automatisch nach einem gewählten Zeitraum abge-

schaltet.

■ LED: In den Aroma-Diffusor sind LEDs integriert, die entweder in der gewählten Farbe leuchten

oder automatisch die Farben wechseln.

Bedientaster

Der Aroma-Diffusor wird über zwei Bedientaster gesteuert.

Taster Funktion

Timer-Taster:

Mit diesem Taster kann der Timer für die automatische Geräteabschaltung eingestellt

werden.

Folgende Einstellungen sind möglich:

2 Stunden → 4 Stunden → Timer aus

Ein-/Ausschalten und LED-Taster:

Mit diesem Taster kann der Aroma-Diffusor ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Das Ein-

schalten ist nur bei korrekt befülltem Wassertank möglich.

Zusätzlich kann mit dem Taster die Farbe der LED-Beleuchtung deniert werden.

Folgende Einstellungen sind möglich:

Gerät an → automatischer Farbwechsel → einfarbig → LED aus → Gerät aus

Reinigung und Pege

■ Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker.

■ Leeren Sie das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch und trocknen Sie den Wassertank mit einem Tuch.

■ Waschen Sie den Wassertank mit klarem Wasser aus, wenn Sie das Aroma wechseln möchten.

Dadurch wird eine Vermischung unterschiedlicher Aromen vermieden.

■ Reinigen Sie die Außenäche des Geräts nur mit einem weichen, leicht befeuchteten Tuch. Reiben

Sie es anschließend mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch trocken.

■ Verwenden Sie keinesfalls Bürsten, scharfe Reinigungsmittel, Benzin, Verdünner oder Alkohol.

Entkalken

Entkalken Sie das Gerät nach fünf- bis sechsmaligem Gebrauch oder alle 14 Tage. Dabei wie folgt

vorgehen:

1. Gerät von der Stromversorgung trennen.

2. Wassertank mit maximal 300 ml Wasser füllen und drei Teelöffel Zitronensäure hinzugeben.

3. Flüssigkeit mindestens fünfzehn Minuten einwirken lassen.

4. Flüssigkeit ausschütten.

5. Wassertank mit einem trockenen Tuch auswischen.

Zur Verwendung

Entsorgung

Elektrische und elektronische Bauteile dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

Wenn das Gebrauchsende erreicht ist, entsorgen Sie das Produkt sowie seine Komponen-

ten entsprechend lokal geltenden Entsorgungsbestimmungen getrennt voneinander.

Garantie

Garantie- und Reparaturbedingungen

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die Servicestelle. Sollten Sie

das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung

bei.

Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für 3 Jahre gewährt. Das Ver-

kaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch Kaufquittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb der Garantiezeit kostenlos

beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit, weder für das Gerät noch

für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.

4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:

a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z. B. durch Nichtbeachtung der

Gebrauchsanweisung, entstanden sind.

b. Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder unbefugte Dritte zurück-

zuführen sind.

c. Transportschäden, die auf dem Weg vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher oder bei der Einsendung

an die Servicestelle entstanden sind.

d. Zubehörteile, die einer normalen Abnutzung unterliegen.

5. Eine Haftung für mittelbare oder unmittelbare Folgeschäden, die durch das Gerät verursacht wer-

Misuse

Misuse of the product can lead to hazardous situations.

■ Only ever ll the product with water. Do not use any other liquids.

■ Do not use the product in wet rooms, such as bathrooms or sau-

nas.

■ Do not use the product in rooms with open re (replace, gas

cooker, candles etc.).

■ Do not insert any objects into the openings of the product.

■ Do not place the product directly in front of an air conditioning unit

or other electrical devices.

■ The device must be used only with the adaptor (HNBG240050WE)

supplied with the appliance.

Children

This device can be used by children of 8 years of age and above

and by persons with restricted physical, sensory or mental capacity

or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have

been instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the

resultant hazards.

■ Make sure that the product is set up out of the reach of children.

■ Make sure that children are not allowed to play with the product at

any time.

■ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children

without supervision.

■ Do not leave packaging material lying around unattended. There is

a risk of asphyxiation.

Improper handling

Improper handling of the product can cause injuries.

■ Make sure that the product is connected properly. In the process,

adhere to these operating instructions.

■ Make sure that the product is used properly. Never cover it.

■ Be aware that unauthorised conversion and / or modication of the

product is prohibited. In case of unauthorised conversion and / or

modication the warranty cover will be rendered null and void.

■ Never open the water tank during operation.

■ Before lling or emptying the product, always pull the mains plug

from the socket.

■ Before installation, cleaning or a period in which the product is not

used, pull the mains from the socket.

■ Empty the water tank before a period in which the product is not

used.

For your safety

■ Contact the manufacturer or a specialist if you have any doubts

regarding the way the product works, its safety or how to connect

the product.

■ If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-

facturer, its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

Setting up

If liquids, damp air or re come into contact with the product, there is

a risk of injuries.

■ Do not set up the product in rooms with high air humidity, such as

bathrooms or saunas.

■ Make sure that no liquids enter into the inside of the housing. This

will not only destroy the product but there is also a risk of re.

■ Protect the product from the effects of the elements. Do not set it

up outdoors.

■ Only ever place the product on at surfaces. If placed on an

inclined surface, water from the water tank may enter into the

housing.

■ Make sure that the air inlet openings on the base of the product are

not covered or sealed.

For use

Functions

The aroma diffuser is a modern fragrance diffuser which uses ultrasound technology to generate a

ne mist and thus distribute the fragrance throughout the whole room. The aroma diffuser has the

following additional functions:

■ Timer: The timer can be used to switch off the diffusion of the fragrance after a selected period.

■ LED: LEDs are integrated into the aroma diffuser which either light up in the selected colour or

change colour automatically.

Operating buttons

The aroma diffuser is controlled using two operating buttons.

Button Function

Timer button:

This button can be used to set the timer for automatic deactivation of the device.

The following settings are available:

2 hours → 4 hours → timer off

Switching on/off and the LED button:

This button can be used to switch the aroma diffuser on and off. You can only switch

on when the water tank is correctly lled.

In addition, the button can be used to dene the colour of the LED lighting.

The following settings are available:

Device on → automatic colour change → single colour→ LED off→ device off

Cleaning and servicing

■ Before cleaning, pull the mains plug.

■ Empty the device after each use and dry the water tank with a cloth.

■ Wash the water tank with clear water when you wish to change the aroma. This prevents mixing

different aromas.

■ Only clean the outside of the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Then rub it dry with a soft, dry

cloth.

■ Do not under any circumstances us brushes, sharp cleaning implements, benzene, thinners or

alcohol.

Descaling

Descale the device after ve or six uses or every 14 days. To do so, proceed as follows:

1. Disconnect the device from the power supply.

2. Fill the water tank with a maximum of 300 ml of water and add three tablespoonfuls of citric acid.

3. Allow the liquid to take effect for at least fteen minutes.

4. Empty out the liquid.

5. Wipe out the water tank with a dry cloth.

For use / Warranty

Disposal

Electrical and electronic components must not be disposed of with the domestic waste.

Once the product reaches the end of its service life, dispose of it and its components sepa-

rately in accordance with the local valid regulations for disposal.

Warranty and repair terms

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to

return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of purchase. In case of a

warranty claim, the date of pur chase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit or for the replacement

parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:

a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-observance of the user instruc-

tions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or unauthorised third parties.

c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the consumer or during

transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are excluded even if the

damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

salle de bain ou un sauna.

■ N’utilisez pas le produit dans des pièces avec un foyer ouvert (che-

minée, gazinière, bougies, etc.).

■ N’insérez pas d’objets dans les ouvertures du produit.

■ Débranchez toujours l’appareil avant d’ajouter ou de vider le pro-

Consignes de sécurité

■ Débranchez l’appareil avant l’installation, le nettoyage et en cas de

non-utilisation.

■ Videz le réservoir d’eau en cas de non-utilisation.

■ En cas de doute sur le fonctionnement, la sécurité ou le branche-

ment du produit, adressez-vous au fabricant ou à un spécialiste.

■ Si le cordon d’alimentation(ou le bloc d’alimentation) est endom-

magé, il doit être réparé que par Medisana, son service clients

agréé ou être remplacé par une personne qualiée an d’éviter tout

risque.

Installation

Le contact du produit avec un liquide, de l’air humide ou le feu peut

entraîner des blessures.

■ N’installez pas le produit dans des pièces à l’humidité élevée telles

qu’une salle de bain ou un sauna.

■ Assurez-vous qu’aucun liquide ne puisse pénétrer à l’intérieur de

l’appareil. Non seulement le produit pourrait être détruit, mais cela

provoquerait en plus un risque d’incendie.

■ Protégez l’appareil des intempéries. Ne l’installez jamais en exté-

rieur.

■ Ne mettez le produit que sur une surface plane. Si la surface est

inclinée, l’eau du réservoir d’eau pourrait pénétrer à l’intérieur de

l’appareil.

■ Faites attention à ce que les arrivées d’air en bas de l’appareil ne

soient pas couvertes ni fermées.

Consignes d‘utilisation

Fonctions

Le diffuseur d'arômes est un diffuseur à parfums moderne, qui produit par une technologie d'ultra-

sons, un brouillard n et répartit ainsi le parfum dans toute la pièce. Ce diffuseur d'arômes comprend

les fonctions complémentaires suivantes :

■ Minuterie : Avec la minuterie, la diffusion du parfum s'arrête automatiquement après une durée

sélectionnée.

■ LED : Dans le diffuseur d'arômes, il y a des LED intégrées qui s'allument de la couleur

sélectionnée ou qui changent automatiquement de couleur.

Boutons de commande

Le diffuseur d'arômes est commandé par deux boutons.

Bouton Fonction

Bouton de la minuterie:

Avec ce bouton, il est possible de régler la coupure automatique de l'appareil.

Les réglages suivants sont possibles :

2 heures → 4 heures → Arrêt minuterie

Mise en marche/Arrêt et bouton LED :

Ce bouton permet de mettre en marche et d'arrêter le diffuseur d'arômes. La mise en

marche n'est possible que si le réservoir d'eau est rempli correctement.

En plus, avec ce bouton il est possible de déterminer la couleur de l'éclairage LED.

Les réglages suivants sont possibles :

Appareil marche → Changement automatique de couleur → Une couleur → LED

éteinte → Appareil arrêt

Nettoyage et entretien

■ Avant le nettoyage, débranchez l'appareil.

■ Videz l'appareil après toute utilisation, et essuyez le réservoir d'eau avec un chiffon.

■ Rincez le réservoir d'eau à l'eau claire, si vous voulez changer de parfum. Cela évitera de mélan-

ger les parfums différents.

■ Nettoyez l'extérieur de l'appareil uniquement à l'aide d'un chiffon doux légèrement humide.

Ensuite, frottez-le avec un chiffon doux et sec pour le sécher.

■ N'utilisez en aucun cas de brosse, d'outil pointu, d'essence, de diluant ou d'alcool pour le net-

toyage.

Détartrage

Détartrez l'appareil après cinq ou six utilisations ou tous les 14 jours. Pour cela, procéder de la

manière suivante :

1. Débrancher l'appareil de l'alimentation électrique.

2. Remplir le réservoir d'eau avec 300 ml maximum et ajouter trois cuillères à café d'acide citrique.

3. Laisser agir le liquide pendant au moins quinze minutes.

4. Vider le réservoir.

5. Essuyer le réservoir d'eau avec un chiffon sec.

Consignes d‘utilisation

Mise au rebut

Les composants électriques et électroniques ne doivent pas être jetés aux ordures ména-

gères.

Une fois la durée d'utilisation terminée, éliminez le produit et ses composants séparément,

conformément à la réglementation de mise au rebut locale en vigueur.

Conditions de garantie et de réparation

En cas de recours à la garantie, veuillez vous adresser à votre revendeur spécialisé ou contactez

directement le service clientèle. S’il est nécessaire d’expédier l’appareil, veuillez indiquer le défaut

constaté et joindre une copie du justicatif d’achat.

Les conditions de garantie sont les suivantes:

1. Une garantie de trois ans à compter de la date d’achat est accordée sur les produits MEDISANA.

En cas d’intervention de la garantie, la date d’achat doit être prouvée en présentant le justicatif

d’achat ou la facture.

2. Durant la période de garantie, les défauts liés à des erreurs de matériel ou de fabrication sont éli-

minés gratuitement.

3. Les services effectués sous garantie n’entraînent pas de prolongation de la période de garantie, ni

pour l’appareil, ni pour les composants remplacés.

4. Sont exclus de la garantie:

a. tous les dommages dus à un usage incorrect, par exemple au nonrespect de la notice d’utilisa-

tion.

b. les dommages dus à une remise en état ou des interventions effectuées par l’acheteur ou par de

tierces personnes non autorisées.

c. les dommages survenus durant le transport de l’appareil depuis le site du fabricant jusque chez

l’utilisateur ou lors de l’expédition de l’appareil au service clientèle.

d. les accessoires soumis à une usure normale.

5. Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour les dommages consécutifs causés directement ou indi-

rectement par l’appareil, y compris lorsque le dommage survenu sur l’appareil est couvert par la

garantie.
