Mit dem Wärmeunterbett HDS / HDC haben Sie ein Qualitätsprodukt von

MEDISANA erworben.

Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrem

MEDISANA Wärmeunterbett haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen die nachstehenden

Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.

Lesen Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig

durch, bevor Sie das Gerät einsetzen und bewahren Sie

die Gebrauchsanweisung für die weitere Nutzung auf.

Wenn Sie das Gerät an Dritte weitergeben, geben

Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung unbedingt mit.

• Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf,

dass es ausgeschaltet ist und dass die auf dem Etikett angegebene elek-

trische Spannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.

• Überprüfen Sie das Wärmeunterbett vor jeder Anwendung sorgfältig, ob es

Anzeichen von Abnutzung und/oder Beschädigung aufweist.

• Nehmen Sie es nicht in Betrieb, wenn Sie Abnutzungen oder Beschädigun-

gen am Unterbett, dem Schalter oder Kabeln feststellen.

• Benutzen Sie das Unterbett nur zu dem in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung

beschriebenen Zweck.

• Setzen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nicht bei Kleinkindern, behinderten oder

hilflosen Personen sowie bei hitzeunempfindlichen Menschen ein.

• Das Wärmeunterbett darf nicht gefaltet, geknickt, ins Bett eingeschlagen

oder um eine Matratze herumgelegt betrieben werden.

• Der Schalter und die Zuleitung dürfen während des Betriebes nicht auf oder

unter das Unterbett gelegt oder in einer anderen Art und Weise abgedeckt

werden.

• Vor dem Gebrauch auf einem verstellbaren Bett muss sichergestellt sein, dass

das Unterbett nicht eingeklemmt oder zusammen geschoben wird.

• Es dürfen keine Sicherheitsnadeln oder andere spitze oder scharfe Gegen-

stände an ihm angebracht oder in es hinein gestochen werden.

• Betreiben Sie das Unterbett niemals unbeaufsichtigt.

• Das Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt bestimmt und darf nicht in

Krankenhäusern verwendet werden.

• Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Unterbett, das ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen

Sie sofort den Netzstecker.

• Benutzen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nicht in feuchtem Zustand und in feuch-

ter Umgebung. Das Unterbett darf erst wieder verwendet werden, wenn es

vollständig getrocknet ist.

• Schalter und Zuleitungen dürfen keinerlei Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden.

• Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.

• Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie das Wärmeunterbett nie am Netzkabel und

klemmen Sie das Kabel nicht ein.

• Reparieren Sie im Falle einer Beschädigung oder Störung das Unterbett nicht

selbst. Geben Sie das defekte Wärmeunterbettt an Ihren Händler zurück.

Eine Reparatur darf nur von einem autorisierten Fachhändler oder einer ent-

sprechend qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden.

Anwendung

• Das Wärmeunterbett HDC darf nur mit der mitgelieferten Steuereinheit

betrieben werden.

• Sollten Sie gesundheitliche Bedenken haben, sprechen Sie vor dem

Gebrauch des Unterbetts mit Ihrem Arzt.

• Sollten Sie über längere Zeit Schmerzen in den Muskeln oder Gelenken emp-

finden, dann informieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt darüber. Länger anhaltende

Schmerzen könnten Symptome für eine ernsthafte Erkrankung sein.

• Sollten Sie die Anwendung als unangenehm oder schmerzhaft empfinden,

brechen Sie diese sofort ab.

Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist.

Zum Lieferumfang gehören:

• 1 MEDISANA Wärmeunterbett HDS / HDC

• 1 Gebrauchsanweisung

Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können dem Rohstoffkreislauf

zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Ver-

packungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Trans-

portschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in

Verbindung.

WARNUNG

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die

Hände von Kindern gelangen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

Mit dem Wärmeunterbett MEDISANA HDS / HDC können Sie den gesamten

Körper sanft erwärmen und entspannen. Die Anwendung fördert die Durch-

blutung in verhärteten Muskelbereichen und das Wohlbefinden nach einem

anstrengenden Tag. Das Wärmeunterbett sorgt für ein angenehm temperiertes

Bett, so dass Sie entspannt und schnell einschlafen.

Breiten Sie das Wärmeunterbett flach auf der Matratze aus und ziehen einen

Bettbezug darüber. Im Gebrauch müssen Sie darauf achten, dass das Unterbett

keine Falten wirft oder sich zusammenschiebt. Das Unterbett darf nur im

flachen ausgebreiteten Zustand betrieben werden. Das Wärmeunterbett ist mit

einer elektrischen Temperaturkontrolle ausgestattet, die entsprechend der ge-

wählten Schalterstufe die eingestellte Temperatur reguliert.

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose und schieben Sie den Schiebe-

schalter von Position 0 auf Position 1. Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet rot auf. Sie

werden eine allmähliche Erwärmung des Unterbetts verspüren, die deutlicher

wird, wenn sie durch ein Oberbett abgedeckt wird. Wenn Sie eine höhere Tem-

peratur wünschen, schieben Sie den Schalter weiter auf die nächste Position 2

oder auf die maximale Wärmestufe in Position 3. Wenn das Wärmeunterbett

für Ihr Empfinden zu stark erwärmt ist, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf

Position 2 oder 1.

Um das Gerät auszuschalten, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf Position 0.

Das Erlöschen der roten Betriebsanzeige signalisiert, dass

das Gerät ausgeschal-

tet ist. Ziehen Sie danach den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

Das Gerät ist so konzipiert, dass die Stufe 3 zum Aufheizen und die Stufen 1

bzw. 2 für den Dauerbetrieb bestimmt sind. Nach ca. 9 Stunden Dauerbetrieb

schaltet sich das Unterbett automatisch ab. Um es wieder einzuschalten, bewe-

gen Sie den Schiebeschalter in die Position 0 und dann wieder auf die

gewünschte Heizstufe.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Wärmeunterbett

nicht mehr benutzen wollen.

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose und schieben Sie den Schiebe-

schalter von Position 0 auf Position 1. Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet orangerot

auf. Sie werden eine allmähliche Erwärmung des Unterbetts verspüren, die

deutlicher wird, wenn sie durch ein Oberbett abgedeckt wird. Wenn Sie eine

höhere Temperatur wünschen, schieben Sie den Schalter weiter auf die

nächste Position 2 oder 3 bzw. bis auf die maximale Wärmestufe in Position 6.

Wenn das Wärmeunterbett für Ihr Empfinden zu stark erwärmt ist, schieben Sie

den Schalter zurück auf eine niedrigere Position.

Um das Gerät auszuschalten, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf Position 0.

Das Erlöschen der orangeroten Betriebsanzeige signalisiert, dass das Gerät aus-

geschaltet ist.

Das Wärmeunterbett ist so konzipiert, dass die Stufen 1, 2 und 3 für den Dau-

erbetrieb während des Schlafens ausgelegt sind. Die Stufen 4, 5 und 6 sind

besonders zum Vorwärmen des Bettes geeignet.

Nach ca. 9 Stunden Dauerbetrieb schaltet sich das Unterbett automatisch ab.

Um es wieder einzuschalten bewegen Sie den Schiebeschalter in die Position 0

und dann wieder auf die gewünschte Heizstufe.

Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Wärme-Unterbett

nicht mehr benutzen wollen.

• Bevor Sie das Unterbett reinigen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie

es abkühlen.

• Entwinden Sie das Kabel, falls es verdreht ist.

• Bewahren Sie das Unterbett am besten zusammengefaltet im Originalkarton

an einem sauberen und trockenen Platz auf.

Das Wärmeunterbett HDS dürfen Sie sanft per Handwäsche reinigen. Die

Schalteinheit dürfen Sie nicht ins Wasser tauchen, da keinerlei Feuchtigkeit ein-

dringen darf. Am besten legen Sie das Unterbett in eine Badewanne mit hand-

warmem Wasser und etwas Feinwaschmittel und drücken sie sanft aus. Achten

Sie darauf, dass die Schalteinheit und das Netzkabel immer außerhalb der

Wanne bleiben. Spülen Sie das Unterbett mehrere Male, um alle Waschmittel-

reste zu entfernen. Legen Sie das Unterbett zum Trocknen flach auf eine Feuch-

tigkeit aufnehmende Unterlage.

Benutzen Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es völlig trocken ist.

Entfernen Sie die Schalteinheit von dem Wärmeunterbett, indem Sie die Steck-

vorrichtung an der Unterseite trennen.

Das Wärmeunterbett HDC dürfen Sie bei 30 Grad im Schonwaschgang in der

Maschine waschen. Die Schalteinheit dürfen Sie nicht ins Wasser tauchen, da

keinerlei Feuchtigkeit eindringen darf. Legen Sie das Unterbett zum Trocknen

flach auf eine Feuchtigkeit aufnehmende Unterlage.

Wenn das Wärmeunterbett vollkommen trocken ist, verbinden Sie die Schalt-

einheit wieder korrekt mit dem Wärmeunterbett. Das Wärmeunterbett HDC

darf nur mit der mitgelieferten Steuereinheit betrieben werden.

Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

Jeder Verbraucher ist verpflichtet, alle elektrischen oder elektronischen

Geräte, egal, ob sie Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer Sammelstelle

seiner Stadt oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden

Entsorgung zugeführt werden können.

Wenden Sie sich hinsichtlich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbehörde oder

Ihren Händler.

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die

Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den

Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.

Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:

1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für drei

Jahre gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch die Kauf-

quittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.

2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb der

Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.

3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit,

weder für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.

4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:

a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z.B. durch Nicht-

beachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung, entstanden sind.

b. Schäden, die auf Instandsetzung oder Eingriffe durch den Käufer oder

unbefugte Dritte zurückzuführen sind.

c. Transportschäden, die auf dem Weg vom Hersteller zum Verbraucher

oder bei der Einsendung an den Kundendienst entstanden sind.

You have purchased the heated underblanket HDS / HDC, a quality product by

MEDISANA.

To ensure the best results and long-term satisfaction with your MEDISANA

heated underblanket, we recommend that you read the following operating

and maintenance instructions carefully.

Please read the following safety information carefully before

using the device and keep these instructions in a safe place for

later use. Should you give this blood pressure monitor to another

person, it is vital that you also pass on these instructions for use.

• Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the

supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains

supply.

• Check the blanket carefully before each use.

• Do not operate it if you notice wear or damage to the underblanket, the

switch or the wires.

• Only use the blanket for the purpose described in these operating in-

structions.

• Do not use the heated underblanket with small children or persons who are

disabled, in need of care or insensitive to heat.

• The heated underblanket may not be operated while folded, creased,

wrapped in a cover or placed around the mattress.

• During use, the control switch and lead must not be placed on or under the

blanket or be otherwise covered in any way.

• Before using it on an adjustable bed, you must make sure that the under-

blanket will not get caught or crumpled together.

• No safety pins or other pointed or sharp objects should be attached to the

underblanket or stuck into it.

• Never leave the blanket on when unattended.

• The device is only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.

• Never handle a blanket that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the mains

outlet immediately.

• Do not use the blanket in a damp or humid environment or if the blanket

itself is damp. You may only use it again once it is completely dry.

• Never expose the control switch or leads to moisture of any kind.

• Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.

• Never carry, pull or twist the blanket by the mains lead and do not allow the

lead to become tangled or snagged.

• Do not repair the underblanket yourself in the event of damage or mal-

function. Return the faulty heated underblanket to your dealer. Only have

repairs carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or suitably qualified

personnel.

• The heated underblanket HDC may only be operated with the control unit

supplied.

• Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor be-

fore using the blanket.

• Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints, please

inform your doctor. Persistent pains can be a symptom of serious illness.

• If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the unit, stop using it

immediately.

Please check first of all that the unit is complete.

The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any pack-

aging material no longer required. If you notice any transport damage during

unpacking, please contact your dealer without delay.

With the MEDISANA HDS / HDC heated underblankets you can gently warm

and relax your whole body. Using the blanket stimulates the circulation in areas

of tense muscle and promotes a sense of well being after a strenuous day. The

heated underblanket provides a pleasantly warm bed, allowing you to relax and

get to sleep quickly.

Spread the blanket out flat on top of the mattress and fit a sheet over it. When

using the blanket, you must make sure that it does not get creased, folded or

rucked up. The blanket may only be used when it is spread out flat. The heated

underblanket features an electric temperature control that regulates the tem-

perature according to the chosen setting.

MEDISANA HDS

Plug the blanket into the mains outlet and move the selector switch from

position 0 to position 1. The red power LED will light up. You will feel the

blanket gradually warming up. This will be even more noticeable if it is covered

with a quilt. If you require a higher temperature setting, move the switch to the

next setting, position 2, or the maximum heat setting, position 3. Should the

blanket get too warm for you, slide the switch back to position 2 or 1.

To switch off the blanket, return the switch to position 0. The red power LED

will go out, indicating that the unit is switched off. Now unplug the blanket

from the mains outlet.

Level 3 of the device is intended for heating up, levels 1 and 2 are for con-

tinuous operation. The blanket will switch off automatically after approx. 9

hours of continuous use. To switch it back on, first move the switch back to

position 0 then back to the desired heat setting.

Unplug the blanket from the mains outlet when it is no longer in use.

MEDISANA HDC

Plug the blanket into the mains outlet and move the selector switch from

position 0 to position 1. The orange power LED will light up. You will feel the

blanket gradually warming up. This will be even more noticeable if it is covered

with a quilt. If you require a higher temperature setting, move the switch to

one of the higher settings, position 2, 3 or up to the maximum heat setting,

position 6. Should the blanket get too warm for you, slide the switch back to

a lower setting.

To switch off the blanket, return the switch to position 0. The orange power

LED will go out, indicating that the unit is switched off.

The heated underblanket is designed in such a way that settings 1, 2 and 3 are

suitable for continuous use while you sleep. Settings 4, 5 and 6 are best suited

to pre-warming the bed. The blanket will switch off automatically after approx.

9 hours of continuous use. To switch it back on, first move the switch back to

position 0, then back to the desired heat setting.

Unplug the blanket from the mains outlet when it is no longer in use.

• Before washing the blanket, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool

down.

• Unravel the cable if it is tangled.

• Ideally, you should store the underblanket folded in its original carton in a

clean and dry place.

MEDISANA HDS

The HDS underblanket may be carefully washed by hand. Never immerse the

control switch in water as moisture must not be allowed to get into the unit.

Ideally you should place the blanket in a bathtub with warm water and a little

mild detergent and squeeze it gently. Make sure that the control switch and

mains lead remain outside the bathtub at all times. Rinse the blanket several

times to get rid of any remaining detergent.

To dry, lay the blanket flat on a moisture-absorbent towel or mat. Only use the

blanket again once it is completely dry.

MEDISANA HDC

Unplug the control switch unit from the blanket using the connector on the

underside.

You may machine-wash the HDC underblanket at 30 degrees on a delicate

cycle. Never immerse the control switch in water as moisture must not be

allowed to get into the unit. To dry, lay the blanket flat on a moisture-absorbent

towel or mat.

When the underblanket is completely dry, it should be reconnected

to the control

switch unit in the correct manner. The heated underblanket HDC may only be

operated with the control unit supplied.

This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.

All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless

of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-

cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally

acceptable manner.

Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about disposal.

Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the

warranty. If you have to send in the unit, please enclose a copy of your

receipt and state what the defect is.

The following warranty terms apply:

1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of

purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be

proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge

within the warranty period.

3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the

unit or for the replacement parts.

4. The following is excluded under the warranty:

a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-

observance of the user instructions.

b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or

unauthorised third parties.

c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to

the consumer or during transport to the service centre.

d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are

excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

Afin d'obtenir les résultats escomptés et de profiter longtemps de votre

couverture chauffante MEDISANA, nous vous recommandons de lire attentive-

ment les instructions suivantes concernant l'utilisation et l'entretien.

Veuillez lire attentivement les consignes de sécurité

suivantes avant d'utiliser l’appareil et conservez le mode

d'emploi pour toute utilisation ultérieure.

Lorsque vous remettez l’appareil à un tiers, mettez-lui

impérativement ce mode d’emploi à disposition.

• Avant de raccorder l’appareil à l’alimentation électrique, veillez à ce que la

tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique corresponde à celle de l’ali-

mentation secteur.

• Contrôlez la couverture chauffante avant chaque utilisation.

• Ne la mettez pas en marche si vous constatez des dommages ou des

endroits usés sur la couverture, le commutateur ou les câbles.

• Veuillez uniquement utiliser la couverture aux fins décrites dans ce mode

d'emploi.

Ne pas utiliser la couverture chauffante pour des enfants en bas âge, des per-

sonnes handicapées ou dépendantes, ainsi que celles sensibles à la chaleur.

• La couverture chauffante ne doit pas être utilisée lorsqu’elle est pliée,

froissée, pliée sur le lit ou enroulée autour d’un matelas.

• Pendant l'utilisation, ne pas placer l'interrupteur et le câble sur ou sous la

couverture, ni les recouvrir de n'importe quelle autre manière.

• Avant de l’utiliser sur un lit dépliant, vous devez vous assurer que la couver-

ture n’est pas coincée ou repliée sur elle-même.

• Ne piquez pas d’épingle à nourrice ou d’autres objets pointus ou coupants

dans la couverture.

• Ne jamais laisser fonctionner la couverture chauffante sans surveillance.

• L’appareil est conçu uniquement pour une utilisation domestique et ne doit

pas être utilisé dans les hôpitaux.

• Ne jamais essayer de rattraper une couverture chauffante tombée dans l'eau.

Retirer la fiche secteur immédiatement.

• Ne pas utiliser la couverture chauffante lorsqu'elle est humide, ni dans une

ambiance humide. La couverture chauffante ne doit être réutilisée que

lorsqu'elle est parfaitement sèche.

• L'interrupteur et le câble ne doivent pas prendre l'humidité.

• Tenir le cordon secteur à l'écart des surfaces chaudes.

• Ne pas porter, traîner ou tordre la couverture chauffante en tirant sur le

cordon secteur et veiller à ne pas pincer le cordon.

• En cas de dommage ou de dysfonctionnement, ne réparez pas la couver-

ture vous-même. Rapportez la couverture chauffante défectueuse là où vous

l’avez achetée. Les réparations doivent exclusivement être exécutées par un

revendeur agréé ou un technicien qualifié.

• La couverture chauffante HDC doit être utilisée uniquement avec l’unité de

commande comprise dans la livraison.

peuvent être un symptôme de sérieuse maladie.

• Si l'application est ressentie comme étant désagréable, voire douloureuse,

interrompez immédiatement le traitement.

Veuillez vérifier tout d’abord qu’il ne vous manque rien.

Les emballages sont réutilisables ou peuvent être recyclés afin de récupérer les

immédiatement votre revendeur.

La couverture chauffante HDS / HDC MEDISANA permet de réchauffer pro-

gressivement et de décontracter le corps. L'utilisation renforce la circulation des

muscles durcis et la sensation de bien être après une journée éprouvante. La

couverture réchauffe le lit à une température agréable permettant de s'endor-

mir décontracté et rapidement.

Poser la couverture chauffante à plat sur le matelas et couvrir d'un drap.

Pendant l'utilisation, veiller à ce que la couverture chauffante ne fasse pas de

plis ou de bosses. Uniquement utiliser la couverture chauffante entièrement

dépliée. La couverture chauffante est équipée d'un contrôle de température

électrique qui règle la puissance de chauffage selon la température sélectionnée.

MEDISANA HDS

Brancher la fiche secteur dans une prise de courant et commuter l'interrupteur

à coulisse de la position 0 à la position 1. Le témoin d'utilisation rouge

s'allume. Vous ressentez le réchauffement progressif de la couverture chauf-

fante, lequel est beaucoup plus sensible si vous vous couvrez d'une couette.

Si vous désirez une température supérieure, positionnez l'interrupteur sur

position suivante 2 ou sur la chaleur maximale à la position 3. Si la couverture

chauffante devient trop chaude à votre goût, ramenez l'interrupteur sur la

position 2 ou 1.

l'interrupteur sur la position 0 puis le ramener sur la position de réglage

désirée. Débrancher la fiche secteur de la prise de courant après l'utilisation de

la couverture chauffante.

MEDISANA HDS

La couverture chauffante HDS doit être lavée à la main et exige certaines

précautions. L'interrupteur ne doit pas prendre l'humidité, ni être immergé

dans l'eau. Nous recommandons de laver la couverture chauffante dans une

baignoire remplie d'eau tiède et de lessive pour textiles délicats en la vrillant

légèrement. Il faut absolument veiller à ce que l'interrupteur et le cordon

d'alimentation restent hors de la baignoire. Rincer la couverture abondamment

pour éliminer la lessive. Sécher la couverture à plat sur un support absorbant

l'humidité.

Ne réutiliser l'appareil que lorsqu'il est parfaitement sec.
